RUINART Rosé Brut Champagne
Description:
Ruinart Rosé Brut is known for its delicate pink colour with a persistent mousse. The aromas of red fruits like strawberries and raspberries mingle with floral notes and a hint of spice. The palate is fresh and elegant, with refreshing acidity and a lingering finish. The Chardonnay grapes are harvested from the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims regions, while the Pinot Noir grapes are harvested from the Montagne de Reims and Vallée de la Marne regions. The grapes are fermented separately in stainless steel tanks, then blended and aged for at least 3 years on the lees and disgorged at least 6 months before release.
Pairing:
Ruinart Rosé Brut is perfect with dishes like grilled shrimp skewers, strawberry spinach salad with goat cheese, or raspberry and white chocolate tart for dessert.

16 Pt – Jancis Robinson Tested Novemberr 27th, 2023
Full bottle 1,641 g. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Raspberries and white pepper. Quite sweet – there is something that evokes a long-distant memory of strawberry jelly babies. Pretty fruit and a good, broad swathe of ripe acidity, but lacks the complexity and stature I’d expect of a champagne in this price bracket. It might taste better with a slice of strawberry tart?
