Bulgari and Hollywood love affair

When we think about Hollywood greatest stars red carpet, first thing that comes to our mind is the glamor and luxury provided by both, couture designs and fine jewelry. If there is a brand that represents those concepts like no other in the world of fine jewelry, that is definitely Bulgari, the Italian brand founded 132 years ago by Sotirios Boulgaris.

Since the 1920s, Bulgari has had a long-standing relationship with Hollywood.  It was in the 50's-60's when with the arrival in Rome of the Cinecitta Studios, the brand store in the city began to be frequented by the Dolce Vita  greatest’ s stars.  From Ingrid Bergman’s iconic emerald necklace in Bernhard Wicki's The Visit, Elizabeth Taylor, Sophia Loren, Grace Kelly and Monica Vitti who shined both onscreen and off, the diamonds and sapphires by the Italian house became part of Hollywood’s glamourous history.

Most magical women of cinema have adorned themselves with Bulgari jewels. Some of the most impressive pieces that have passed through the red carpet during these years are part of the memories of film lovers. Those are some of the most remembered ones.
