Description:
Praised for its elegance by Wine Spectator (95 pts) and complexity by James Suckling (93 pts), Egly-Ouriet's Blanc de Noirs Vieilles Vignes Grand Cru Extra Brut is a rare gem. Masses of maturity and, surely, oak on the nose. Racy and layered and lacy. Bone-dry finish. Another intellectual champagne. Pretty chunky still.
