Very pale indeed. Pungent and relatively dry-tasting even though it qualifies as Rich. (Don’t be misled by the Sec sweetness category, which does not really mean dry in Champagne since it can have 17-32 g/l residual sugar.) Not sure when you would drink this. I would imagine the overall impact is very similar to a heavily dosed supermarket champagne but this has clearly been made very carefully. Long. Appley.
